How do you you get world series tickets without owning season tickets?
Not just for this world series, but all world series ingeneral. No stub hub
Visit the team's web site, find out what's available. That's what I've done in the past. Bought right off the team web site. Season ticket holders get first choice, then the major team sponsors. You take what they've got left including nose bleed seats for outrageous prices.

How much would a 1968 world series signed baseball be worth?
My father recently found a 1968 world series baseball signed by the Detroit Tigers. The ball is in good shape. He wants to sell it and plans to get it appraised. But how much could he expect from it?
I suppose it people don't think its from 1968 its their loss....
It depends on a few factors. Is it on an official baseball or non official? Are the signatures in pen? Are they all the same color? Who is on the sweet spot? How many signatures are on the ball? Which players/coaches signed the ball? What condition is the ball and signatures? Has it been authenticated?
As you can see there are many different factors in determining the value of a Team Signed ball. The value of the ball could be from $0 to a few hundred, depending on all the questions above and a few more.
I would post pictures of the ball over at the PSA message board and let folks look at it, they can give you some idea of the answers you are looking for. And if it is determined to be a legit ball, we can steer you in the right direction to get it authenticated.
