Who is your favorite baseball player on the Chicago White Sox?

The Chicago White Sox is filled with talented players. Players such as Lance Broadway, Boone Logan, Chris Getz, Joe Crede, Juan Uribe, and Jim Thome.

I would say Mark Buehrle. He is a consistently above average pitcher. Although he doesn't record as many strikeouts as other pitchers, he gets the outs, and that is what matters. He also has a great personality. He used to go tarp-sliding during rain-delays! He is a great pitcher and very down-to-earth.

We are helping decorate a young boy's room for Habitat for Humanity and he loves the Chicago Bulls. We are interested in getting some jerseys with the more famous Bulls names on them but we don't know who that would be (besides Jordan of course). Who should the Chicago Bulls hire as head coach?

It seems to me that Jim Paxston is still not sure who he will hire as the Chicago Bulls next head coach. But let's say if he comes up to you, and asks you who he should hire as the next head coach of the Chicago Bulls, who would you tell him to hire, and why would you tell him to hire that person?

I think Chicago needs to get a hold of Avery Johnson. The guy is very decent, and he had succesful runs with Dallas.

Tom Thibodeau is another, but I think the Bulls defense is great anough they need a guy who can make the offense flow easier.

Scottie Pippen suggested himself after the Bulls ousted Scott Skiles (who I think didn't deserve the ax) but with all the nasty comments he gave the players during his enquiry I wonder if they would be happy to play for him. Plus Scottie is a very successful player, I wonder how his temperament will be seeing this young team through. So I think yeah, Avery Johnson should fit this Bulls club well.

I'm a Bulls fan.

Well realistically I think the Bears can make the playoffs, and they probably will. The Bears need to win against Houston on Sunday which I believe they will do. They also need the Vikings to lose to the Giants which I believe they will. If the Vikings lose, and the Bears win, the Bears win the NFC North and advance to the wild card round. Now as far as the super bowl, I doubt they will get that far. If anything the Bears might get to the divisional round and lose to the Giants or Panthers. The Bears are a good team, but they lack the consistency to stay alive in the tough games. There were games they should have won this season that they didn't. Sure anything is possible, but looking at in a realistic way, the Bears don't have the super bowl style of play they had back in 2006. They aren't as dominant. If they had a better running game, and a better defense then I would say it is possible.

Why are the Chicago Cubs such a popular team?

I've always wondered this question for about a few years now, and its really sprung up to me that the Chicago Cubs are a very popular team. Why are they such a popular team though? Really they are one of my least favorite teams in professional sports, and they are boring to watch to me. I just always failed to see why they are a popular team.

We should be buddies, I often wonder why does anybody with even half brain power, even like the team in the first place. It is not like the Chicago Cubs are a rival team of yours, like the Chicago White Sox. Not that I am saying that they are a boring team, but I juist don't get why fans love the team. And maybe Wrigley Field has something to do with it. But we don't always have to like or hate the same teams, some people might have become Cubs gans, but either grouwing up near Wrigley Field, or they have family members that are Chicago Cubs fans.

I agree with you that the Cubs will end up winning the Central for a few main reasons.

1. There are no great contenders. Sure, people say the Brewers are a pretty good team, but I think they have been pretty fortunate in the first half of the season. People like Hardy have been having above average seasons and there is no reason why they will not cool down in the second half of this season. And no one knows if Fielder is going to be able to keep up his pace of 50+ homers. Even Francisco Cordero is playing a lot better than his average or previous years would suggest, and I don't see why this will continue.

2. The Cubs have the talent. You put Alfonso Soriano, Derrek Lee, and Aramis Ramirez in the top of any lineup in the NL, that team becomes instant contenders, especially in a division as weak as the central. And their rotation isn't too bad either, Zambrano is the Santana of the NL and usually has strong finishes to his season. Ted Lilly has pitched well, and so has Jason Marquis. Even Sean Marshall has been doing quite well as a #4 starter.

3. The Cubs have been quite unlucky. If you look at the run differential, the Cubs should have a better record than they currently do. This is because of their bad luck in 1-run games. If the Cubs fix this, I don't see why they can't win the Central.
