Tug of War contest for dogs? Sound interesting?
I was watching a video about all the new sports for dogs and the great things they can do. and I saw one that had a doggie tug of war contest. It was set up just like a human tug of war, wear it had two sides and two cross-over lines with one middle line and a rope that stretch across all three lines to the dogs on either side (granted this is not as long a rope as I make it seem, pretty short actually). Then the key is which ever dog lasts the longest or pulls the other dog out of bounds (aka over the center line or too far to each side) WINS!
I bet my Sophie would be really good at that, she's not aggressive during tugs at all but when shes against other dogs shes the champ! She never loses! What do you think? Could your dog do it? Do you think the dogs like it? They seemed pretty happy doing it to me!

My dogs play tug of war with each other all the time! Usually using rope toys, rags, stuffed animals, whatever they can get their teeth on. I think most dogs like it, and they LOVE it when they win. It's kind of like a game of dominance for them. Although I don't think I can get them to stay in one place like in that video you described. I never thought about tug of war as a sport for dogs. That's cool your dog always wins

if not who will?? I can't see any one else that will come close apart from giggs. Not an F1 fan just like a bet now and again!
I think he probably will win it-hope so!
