Settle a bet does your entire Internet browsing history disappear when you get a new ip?

I have a little bet with a friend, he says that your entire internet browsing history gets deleted once you change your ip address. Now you won't even have to change providers, but if you turn off your router it can change and he says that that deletes the entire history.

I say that it doesn't and that people can still look up old logs even though you changed ip's. Who is right in this one?

You should get him to wager big $$$ first, then you can update him on his delusional understanding of IP addresses, ISP logs, and what does not happen when you turn off your router.

You Bet You Win - Internet Gambling

I'm interested in a internet marketing job, but don't know where to start and who to steer away from.?

I would like to work from my home base computer and was told my best bet would be internet marketing. I am currently a Licensed Real Estate agent is their anthing in marketing that would pertain to my current position?

Combine internet marketing with real estate.

Do you sell real estate now? Start a website that focuses on a small niche in real estate in your area. Make it informative and interesting to the average reader. Think about everything that a buyer or seller would, could, or should know about your area when they move in.

For instance: What are things that a buyer or seller needs in your area...

For Buyers it might be inspectors and what they should be looking for, interior decorators, pool services, lawn services, car dealers, auto repair stations, things of local interest like farmer's markets, kids activities, etc.

For sellers it might be house painters, tips for increasing sales, movers, etc.

You can then link with these companies and individuals and let them advertise through your site. the list is unlimited.

You can also go to MySpace and start a profile.

All you have to do to find prospects is to begin searching for people who looking to move in your area soon. You can then add these people to your friends list. If you become the center of information (special cultural events, museums, festivals, etc) for your area, people will naturally gravitate to it. You can also link to a blog or website that has more information. I would avoid trying to sell real estate in MySpace, but you can provide information and education that is well within the Term of Service.

This is a significant advantage over other methods of finding prospects, as it allows you to do so completely free of charge. Furthermore, MySpace has built-in mechanisms that help you to contact these prospects and to warm them up for selling.

One of these mechanisms is a “bulletin.” A bulletin is a message that you send out to all of the friends on your friends list at the same exact time. Regardless of whether you have 10 friends or 40,000 a bulletin will reach them all in a matter of minutes. Next time they open up their profiles, they will all have that bulletin you sent.

How can you use this in your favor? You can send out a bulletin about something related to your business; and then use that to lure them into reading your MySpace.

You can also send out private messages to individual users. This is a good method to use in conjunction with a database. If you are taking the time to invite people individually, also take the time to add them to a database, along with some notes about them. If you think they might want something particularly, you could always send them a private message to let them know you are a seller. You can then offer them a discount if they are interested.

Good luck and e-mail if you have questions on what I wrote.
