We just created a website to help sports betting. There is a forum for people to talk about their bets and reviews of any sort of online gambling. Anything from poker to sportsbooks. We are also having a drawing where any post is an entrie, but you must be a registerd member of the board, and it doesnt cost anything. All you have to do is post messages. Here is my question, has anyone had problems with any online poker or sportsbooks? Ive seen people say that their account was closed and they took their money, but no specific names.

I know bet on sports.com closed, but I don't know if there are other sportsbooks.

sports betting champ system - Scam or Worth It?

has anyone payed for this system and know a hundred percent sure its a scam or it works because there are alot of people saying it works by only betting on a few games a season in each sport

I haven't used that system and I don't know anyone that has, so I guess I don't know the direct answer to your question. It seems you are looking for a legit site on the internet to help you have some fun with sports betting. That I can help with.

You hear a lot of people say: "Never pay for picks!" They believe that every system out there is a scam, and no one could possibly know enough to make money over time betting on sports. While they are entitled to their opinion, I wholeheartedly disagree.

Yes there are a lot of sites that are scams, and are just trying to do a hit and run on you for money. But there are a few that I have used, or friends have used to help them get an extra edge on our sports betting. (I've only had experience with wagering on the NFL)

Friends of mine have used madduxsports and have had some winning success with them last year and the year before (personally they aren't for me). I used mikelineback once on a trip to vegas, did great. This season I'm using itnsports.com, and things are going well. I have a 28% ROI (return on investment) since the start of the NFL season and paid for the membership in the first week.

I've not heard of it, but let me give you some advice...

I've tried numberous football betting systems, tips etc... and none of them work long term. They might generate some short term success (luck) but I would not waste your money.

Try www.online-betting-guide.co.uk which includes a free tipping section. There are some sharp people making fun tips on there that you can pick up. Simply look for tipsters doing well in the league section and follow their tips with the OBG tip alert tool. (visit the site and it will make sense).

For me, by following the sharp tips on OBG I've done much better than using paid for services.

Can the IRS find out about my winnings if i bet on sports online. I cashed in a 100 dollar ticket the other day. Can they find out my winnings??

They are not going to find $100. Or even $1000. If you are making serious money and you are spending more than you make, that will cause a red flag and the IRS will audit you to find out where this money is coming from. You would have to be doing this full time with no job to probably get caught by the IRS.

The stock market is better.

1) If a stock starts losing market value, you can sell it and save some of your capital. You can't get out of a bet once it starts going bad.

2) If a stock goes up,you can sell it in about 3 seconds. You can't cash in a bet half way through the game.

3) You can write covered calls on under performing stocks to recoup losses. You can write covered calls as an extra income source.

4) Some stocks pay dividends. No wager pays you just for making a wager.

5) Not as easy to manipulate stock market. Athletes can shave points at anytime.

I know in China they just ban this sites. The people cant even open the sites. In Thailand I dont know but if you can open an account then its legal, because the gambling sites just remove the country from the register page.

Odd for playing Pass, Come, and Place a Bet in craps. ex 3X table?

On what point numbers do you 3X your Pass flat bet? 6 and 8 are more likely than 4 and 10 to be rolled, should you 3X on 6 and 8 but many only 1X on 4 and 10?. Same question for playing the Come. What Come point numbers should you place odds on the Come, Lastly, as a strategy do you normally Place bets on 6 and 8? ...or go for the bigger payout with 4/10 or 5/9? Hope this makes sense, but if you know craps you should understand the question. Thanks

3X is for the 4/10, 4X is for the 5/9 and 5X is for the 6/8.

There isn't any strategy for how much odds you should bet because the house advantage is 0%. Don't be fooled into thinking the the 4 and 10 come about too rarely to bet much on. The truth is that the payout justifies the means in which to bet. There are bets you should NOT make though which is more important.

You should NEVER make a put bet on any number unless you can put more than 4X odds (5X odds for the 6 or 8). The reason is that the place bet will pay more for the same result. A place bet is nothing more than one unit flat with 4X odds (5X for the 6/8). The only reason you make pass line/come bets is because you have the advantage on the come out roll.

NEVER say "No action" or take down a Don't Come Bet. If you change your mind then bet the same amount against it on a place bet. The worst that will happen is that you break even if the 7 still rolls. If the number rolls then you break even PLUS a couple extra dollars.

NEVER bet a $36 five/nine. I see this bet all the time. If you want to parlay your $15 to $36 then you should at the very least buy it for $35. It doesn't cost you any more money because the dollar on top can be used to buy it. It will pay you $52 instead of $50. That's a 4% difference. A lot of money in gambling terms. Toss in an extra dollar to buy for $36 which will pay $54, however this defeats the purpose of not having to worry about your parlay.

NEVER play Big 6/Big 8. They only pay even money. So what if you're only going to play $10. Give it to the dealer and tell him/her what you want. You'll get an extra dollar for it.

NEVER play the World bet for $15 or more if the casino has hop bets. You should take the time and bet $12 Horn and $3 7's hop. Every nickel you want to put on the World should be $4 horn $1 seven bet separately. If the seven rolls you'll get some money for it instead of just breaking even.

NEVER play a Lay bet for $1 more than an even payout amount. Sure, you shouldn't really bet an odd amount anyway, but if you lay $25 against the 5,6,8,9 then you won't get any more money for that extra dollar wagered. You WILL get more money if you wager more than $1 and still have it uneven. For the 5/9 an extra 1 gets 0, an extra 2 gets 1. For the 6/8 an extra 1 gets 0, 2 gets 1, 3 gets 2, 4 gets 3, 5 gets 4.

This advice talks in terms of $1 chips, but even if you are a big player, the dollars add up quickly if you are guilty of any of these practices. Try saving up these dollars in a pocket or something and when you are done playing see how many dollars you got. If you just play a couple hours you could easily have $50.

i think what you've heard is that craps can offer you the best odds in the casino, but you've got it slightly wrong.
you don't want to play the pass line against the don't pass line, that's just hedging your bets and guarantees you one win and one loss.
the best bet is a small bet on the pass line and the max odds bet, which is placed behind your bet on the pass line, after there is a point. but it's not a don't win line, it's still a pass line bet, you're still betting to make the point.

that pass line odds bet is the best bet in the casino.

Little confused about U.S. gambling laws...help?

I cant seem to find a definitive answer to my question.
Is it legal to own a sports betting website from within the U.S.
Say its hosted in the u.k. or Canada and only residents of those two countries are allowed to use it. No U.S. citizens would be allowed to use the website. Then would it still be illegal to live in the U.S. and operate a website like that from here.
Please don't mention how theres to much competition in p2p betting, I know that but I still need to have this answered.
