Bowl Xliii

Who do you think will go to Super Bowl XLIII?
I think the colts and the cowboys next year. what about you?
think honestly, not just your favorite team guys. i think, honestly, not just because the colts are my favorite team, that it will be dallas and indianapolis.
Well, the Patriots are already heavy favorites to make it to next years game, but I think that with all the age they've got on defense & the thought that they might lose one of their 3 weapons @ WR(either Moss or Stallworth), that doesn't help them. If I had to take a guess as to who'd come out of the AFC, it would have to be Indy. As far as the NFC goes, I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan, but I like Green Bay's youth movement & I think that if Dallas doesn't do it that Green Bay will.
So in short, it'll either be Indy vs. Dallas or Indy vs. Green Bay

Super Bowl XLIII: Phil Simms on Kurt Warner's Gloves
irony about the Steelers and the Cardinals facing each other at Super Bowl XLIII?
they were known as Card-Pitt and were counted as one team years ago. please be extensive on your answers. thank you
Yes - Card-Pitt or "Carpets" as they were nicknamed. That is pretty ironic - good call. The funny thing is even if the Cardinals would have lost to the Eagles we would still have the same situation as Pittsburgh also cooperated with the Eagles once to create the "Steagles".
There is one other link between the Cardinals and Steelers: They are still are owned by the same families that they were as Card-Pitt, the Bidwills (Cards) and Rooneys (Steelers). They were once Card-Pitt teammates.
This game is also kind of ironic in the fact that when Cowher retired Whisenhunt was with the Steelers and was thought by many as the person who would be his successor in Pittsburgh. Pretty ironic that the first time that Whisenhunt meets his old team it is in the Super Bowl. This game will probably finally put the subject to rest of whether the Steelers hired the right guy.
